PDC (www.pdc.org.cn) belongs to the China Import and Export Fair (also called as Canton Fair: www.cantonfair.org.cn) of the Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China, a world-wide famous comprehensive trade expo held biannually at every spring and autumn in Guangzhou(Canton) since 1957, which has over 25,000 Chinese exhibitors and more than 200,000 global buyers from all over the world every session.
Launched in 2011, PDC has been working on matching international design with Chinese companies through exhibitions and effective matching works such Design Show, Design Forum, Design Awards,Design Gallery and etc.. In the past 5 years, 525 design companies/organizations from 15 countries/ regions, including France, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, UK, Australia, USA, Japan, Korea, Germany, U.A.E., China Hongkong, China Taiwan and China Mainland have exhibited in PDC design show and related events. Each session about 100 design companies/studios exhibit in PDC Design Show, who on average got over 20000 business contacts from global buyers and Chinese manufactures, and among which, 30% turn into cooperation projects, according to the survey.
