IBM Security: Prosper in the Cyber Economy

Rethinking cyber risk for business transformation

In IBM, we understand that every business is racing to manage cybersecurity risk and improve their security programs.

But moving fast is tough given the accelerating threats and change security leaders are faced with. Cybercriminals are constantly adapting their tactics to infiltrate every business across all industries and countries, posing tremendous uncertainty to businesses and individuals alike.

  • We’re witnessing attacks and threats that are on the rise across all environments
  • Attack surfaces are expanding and OT devices have become huge targets of interests for threat actors
  • the cost of a data breach is up 13% in two years
  • We also recognize that in addition to threats increasing, so does the number of compliance requirements that organizations face.

It’s time to face this mounting uncertainty head on and gain an advantage to move ahead

Every client is unique, of course, but certain cybersecurity challenges are widely shared.

  • As organizations continue to embrace hybrid cloud, they’re faced with evolving business disruptions like costly ransomware attacks across an ever-expanding attack surface.
  • The sheer diversity of IT deployment models across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS is driving complexity and a loss of visibility as data is stored, accessed and processed across multiple different architectures.
  • Resources are being accessed by a growing number of siloed constituents (including employees, suppliers, partners, and customers) all using multiple devices from distributed and remote locations.
  • And undoubtedly, as cybersecurity is a board-level concern and senior executive conversation, the pressure builds for security leaders to quantify, baseline, and optimize their security programs and frame the benefits in terms of the value to the business.

IBM Security can help you overcome these challenges. Our mission is to provide security that moves with your business by working with you as your trusted security partner and platform of choice, to gain speed, scale, and accuracy, across all your security domains.

Regardless of your role in security, you can achieve real business outcomes by partnering with us.
