All conference registration rates includ the purchase of a dicounted ESMA membership at 50% off (€50 for regular members; €25 for students and low-income members). Membership is valid for two years and also includes complimentary iSMA membership.

If you are already an ESMA member at the time of registration, your existing membership will be automatically extended by two years.    

Prices show below are inclusive of 20% French TVA/VAT. 

NOTE: No exemptions or waivers of sales tax are permitted under French TAX law for EU Citizens. Reverse charges are non-applicable for EU citizens or organisations. All attendees from outside the EU are still required to pay TVA without exception.

STUDENT FEES

Main Conference: EUR 330.00 (EUR 275.00 ex TVA)

The student/recent graduate rate is limited to 30 places. Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. 

This rate is available to full-time undergraduate or full-time postgraduate (PhD) students.

SKILLS WORKSHOPS

A selection of half-day skills workshops will take place at MBS School of Business between 9 AM and 12.30 PM on 8th July ahead of the main conference sessions. To take part in these sessions a seperate ticket must be selected below.

The ESMC planning team have arranged special discounted rates at three hotels in Montpellier at differing rates to meet a range of budgets. 

The number of discounted rooms will be limited so we advise booking early to avoid disappointment.

Rooms will be available between 4-11 July 2026.

EXISTING ESMA MEMBERS: SAVE 10%
Being a member of ESMA or one of the other recognised social marketing associations means you are eligible for a 10% discount when you book for any World Social Marketing event, including ESMC 2026.

SKILLS WORKSHOP | Getting Published | 9.00 AM - 12.30 PM | 8th July

Workshop leaders

Facilitator: Prof. Sharyn Rundle-Thiele, Director, Social Marketing @ Griffith, Founding Co-Editor, The Journal of Social Marketing

Join us to learn how you can get your work published.  This skills workshop equips you with a variety of tools, strategies and approaches that will increase your chances of publication success.

We open with an introduction to the key aspects of writing for publication in academic journals. The following topics will be covered: study quality, identifying target journals; crafting titles and abstracts; contribution statements and positioning; the importance and role of theory and theoretical contributions; the importance of the discussion section, and pathways to future research; the key quality criteria of originality, rigour and significance. The first part of the workshop concludes with a reflection on journal rankings – why they matter and why they shouldn’t.

After the break, participants will work on several hands-on tasks, putting some of the main learning points into practice.

The workshop is open to all.
