Uni.Fund is delighted to invite you to the "Entrepreneurship in Higher Education and Research Commercialization" event, organized in collaboration with HEInnovate, a joined initiative of the European Commission and OECD. The event will take place at Bodossakis Foundation Building (20, Vasilissis Amalias Av. & 5, Souri Str., Athens) on Thursday, 11th April (9.30 - 13.30). 

Τhe aim of the event is to present the current status, best practices and successful examples from the Greek research and entrepreneurial ecosystem, and indicate how the HEInnovate tool can support Higher Education Institutions in assessing and developing the entrepreneurial and innovative nature of their education environment.

About Uni.Fund

Uni.Fund is one of the new funds that have been created through EquiFund investment platform, an initiative created by cooperation between the Hellenic Republic and EIF. 
Uni.Fund has a special orientation to the Innovation Window and the Technology Transfer. Its goal is to support new startups through funding and to create a new philosophy in the Greek business ecosystem, Greek universities and research institutes.
The main focus of Uni.Fund lies on teams and ventures in pre-seed and seed stages dealing with informatics or e-business, innovative products or services and the broader tech space.

About HEInnovate

HEInnovate was developed under the aegis of the European Commission's DG Education and Culture in collaboration with the OECD LEED forum and is a self-assessment tool for Higher Education Institutions wishing to explore their entrepreneurial and innovative potential. 
The tool helps Higher Education Institutions identify their current situation and therefore potential areas for action, taking into account their local and national environments. HEInnovate's website also provides case studies, user stories and other materials which give ideas, guidance and inspiration for the effective management of institutional and cultural change. The online self-assessment tool is freely available at: www.heinnovate.eu.
