HL7 Europe Working Group Meeting along with an HL7 FHIR Marathon will be held from January 15 to 19, 2024.

The event organized by HL7 Europe is embedded in the Athens Digital Health Week that is convened at the same period in Athens, Greece.

ABOUT THE EVENTS

On Monday, January 15^th, the European Strategic Advisory Board (ESAB) and the HL7 Europe Board members will meet.

Monday through Wednesday, we offer Tutorials focusing on FHIR, the Terminologies SNOMED and LOINC, the Electronic Product Identification (ePI) and the Label2Enable, an EU-funded project promoting a health app quality and reliability label, Identification of Medicinal Products (IDMP), the HL7 European Lab Report Implementation Guide as well as GS1 Standards.

On Tuesday Jan. 16^th, the Technical Coordination Team (TNT) will meet.

From Tuesday to Thursday before lunch, an EU-centric HL7 FHIR Marathon will be conducted. Topics/tracks planned are the European Lab Report, the International Patient Summary IPS and the electronic Product Information (ePI) and Identification of Medicinal Products (IDMP).

From Wednesday to Friday afternoons, a Gravitate-Health Hackathon and Thursday the EU edition of the Vulcan Accelerator is planned.

Discussion Rounds and Project Meetings are interspersed from Tuesday to Friday. Discussion topics will be Terminology and arising National Terminology Services, Public Health and the Health System and next steps in the set of EU Implementation Guides, i. e. Imaging Report and Hospital Discharge Report.
