International High Level Tax Meeting – myDATA

The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, on the initiative of its Tax Committee, is organizing an INTERNATIONAL HIGH LEVEL TAX MEETING – myDATA: tool for strengthening companies competitiveness, under the auspices of the Independent Authority of Public Revenues (IAPR) of Greece, which will take place in Athens, on March 2, 2023, with the participation of the political leadership of the Ministry of Finance, representatives of the European Union, the Greek tax administration and tax authorities of other states, international speakers, as well as market and business world executives.

In recent years, the Greek tax administration has undertaken a series of important and innovative initiatives with the aim of digitizing tax services, with the cornerstone of this effort being the My Data platform. This effort is aimed at improving the quality of services provided by the administration to taxpayers, reducing administrative costs as well as automating procedures.

At the same time, the tax administration is equipped with tools and data to control tax compliance more effectively and combat tax evasion. These goals together, create increased expectations for a contribution to improving competitiveness and the development of the Greek economy and are reasonably the subject of analysis and exchange of views between the interested stakeholders, considering international experience.
