The National Documentation Center (EKT), National Contact Point for “Horizon 2020” of the EU, and the Alliance for the Internet of Things Innovation (AIOTI) organize an event referring to the expansion of the national participation in one of the most important future technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT). The event is organized with the support of the European Commission.
Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the interconnection of people, machines, household appliances, simple objects and processes, creating unlimited possibilities and perspectives for governments, businesses and citizens. The event is aiming to bridge all active actors of the IoT ecosystem in Greece, both from the supply side (technology providers) and the demand side (end users of technology) and increase innovation activities and promotion of IoT in our country, aligned with the actions taken at European level as well as in other EU member states.
During the event there will be a presentation of (a) the AIOTI actions for the promotion of IoT (http://www.aioti.eu) and (b) the available funding opportunities for research and innovation through the Horizon 2020 EU programme (Large Scale Pilots, Horizontal Activities). Participants will also have the chance to shortly present their organizations and network aiming at building synergies and cooperation between the academic and business community.
On-line registration has ended. You will be able to register on the spot, at the check-in desk of the event.
