THE 1st ATHENS CIRCULAR FORUM IS COMING SOON!

Τhe heart of Circular Cities is beating at Hypatia Megaron.

We kindly invite you in the first Athens Circular Forum, organized by Symbiosis.

Please find the #ACF Agenda, speakers, coordinators, contributors, sponsors and supporters profiles here. Free entrance subject to registration.

Keeping our eyes on the municipal and regional elections of May 2019, we want to bring the Circular Agenda at the heart of the public debate, starting from Athens, at one of its most beautiful, historic and symbolic venues: Hypatia Mansion.

The central pillar of the Forum's philosophy is to promote our value framework by preserving political neutrality, engaging in meaningful dialogue among all possible stakeholders and pursuing synergies through the interconnection of Municipalities, Universities, Market Actors, Regional and Government Authorities, European Institutions, Civil Society and Citizens.

The purpose of the Forum is to stimulate and jumpstart a long-ranging conversation between all relevant communities of the Greek ecosystem necessary to accelerate the transition of the national and European economy from Linear to Circular.

A Circular Economy is not only beneficial & desirable, but urgently necessary & inevitable. In order for it to become an every-day reality as fast and as smooth as possible, lessons learned from around the world have shown that a coordinated and meaningful dialogue is the key to unlocking our Circular future.

Athens Circular Forum is just the beginning. The objective is to formulate a Circular Cities’ taskforce and kick-start a series of roundtables & workshops with every relevant and affected stakeholder in the Greek ecosystem, culminating in a Manifesto for Circular Cities. First, we envision a Circular Athens that will propel the Capital of Greece among the pioneering urban areas of Europe and of the world in the ongoing Circular revolution.

With its unique historical & cultural importance, diversified natural environment combined with high population density, productive tourism, the shipping and logistics strength of the Piraeus Port, and a vibrant civil society, there is no reason for which Athens cannot be among, and even lead, the protagonist cities making the transition towards a Circular Economy.

The Forum’s nature and venue is exclusive and unique, offering a great chance for high-end networking and for lively discussing your vision and expectations regarding the Circularisation of your industry with key policy-makers. These include current and former Ministers, MPs, MEPs, Peripheral Leaders, Mayors, distinguished academia, global think tanks and representatives of EU Institutions, as well as critical market players.

The heart of Circular Economy is beating at Hypatia Megaron.

Don't miss it! Book your seats now!
