Finals & Awards Ceremony of MITEF Greece Startup Competition 2016

MIT Enterprise Forum Greece in cooperation with NCSR “Demokritos” have the pleasure of inviting you to the Final Judging & Award Ceremony of the MITEF Greece Startup Competition, as pre-event of the 4th Hellenic Forum for Science Technology and Innovation, on Thursday, 30 June 2016, at 18:00 at the Central Amphitheater of NCSR “Demokritos”. The MITEF Greece Startup Competition is a technology accelerating competition in which Greek technology entrepreneurs compete for prizes and global recognition that will further their startup goals. 

During the event the top 10 finalists of the competition will pitch live to our expert panel, which will select the winner and 2 runner-ups.

Furthermore our invited speakers will discuss the opportunities that innovative technology creates: 

- Dr. Dan Marom, Entrepreneur, Consultant & Researcher, Dan Marom & Co. LTD, and co-author of "The Crowdfunding Revolution", will address this subject matter and will provide usefull insights.

- Marco Veremis, CEO & Co-founder of Upstream, will share his professional experience from starting locally to going globally: the expansion, the partnerships and the angel's story.

- Evangelos Pappas, Founder & Member of the Scientific Board at RTsafe, will discuss about his experience in participating at MITEF Greece Startup Competition and especially the company's progress after winning the 1st prize.

Admission is free but advance registration is required as places are limited.
