IGNITE @Reload: DEVELOPING YOUR IDEA - Cyprus

Are you interested in developing your early-stage business idea while networking with like-minded entrepreneurs from 4 countries?

The Young Entrepreneurs Programme, the flagship pre-accelerator of UK based Reload Greece, runs across leading universities in the UK, Netherlands, Greece and for the first time in Cyprus. The programme aims to enable youth (Final year, Masters & PhD students and Researchers) and young professionals to develop business ideas with a positive socio-economic impact on their home counties. RG YEP is particularly keen to meet ideas coming from the MedTech, AgriTech, GreenTech, FinTech, Construction and Tourism sectors. 

The programme offers: 

IGNITE (Workshops in each location, where innovative business ideas are identified)

ACCELERATE (7 weeks of 1:1 mentoring with dedicated mentors per team & masterclasses with leading tech companies in London) 

PITCH (Entrepreneurs present their startup in front of judges at a pitch event in London)

Kick start your entrepreneurial journey by joining this IGNITE workshop, you’ll have the chance to work on your early-stage idea or the problem you want to solve using the methodology of Reload Greece. 

Session Breakdown:

• 11:00 - 11:30: Registration
• 11:30 - 11:45: Welcome remarks by University of Cyprus and Cyprus Seeds
• 11:45 - 12:00: Introduction to the RG YEP programme and awards to be offered
• 12:00 - 12:15: Inspirational talk by Katerina Santikou, General Manager of Workathlon, RG Challenge 17' Winner
• 12:15 - 12:40: ‘Time to shine’*
• 12:45 - 13:45: Breakout Session (1:1 mentoring)
• 13:45 - 14:00: Present your developed business idea to the audience
• 14:00 - 14:30: Networking

*- If you have an idea that you would like to share with the audience, please answer the questions in the registration form to be able to present it within 2 mins at the workshop.

  - If you already have an idea and a team, join us to get the ball rolling!

  -  If you do not have a business idea; no problem! Come along to enhance your skills and join a team to develop the idea further together.
