Shipping and ports go hand-in-hand as disruption to one creates a ripple effect for the other. Nowadays, the maritime industry has become increasingly digitalized with modern tools, however, as always in operations there are modern day threats. Currently, cyber-security threats to ships and ports are very real and the industry needs to stay ahead and stay safe. It’s about taking the necessary steps to safeguard the fleet, port and business operations from current and emerging threats and vulnerabilities related to digitalization against cyber events, and to ensure continuity of operations.
