The Role of Mass Flow Meter System - Strengthening Accountability and Transparency in the Future of Bunkering

IBIA, in collaboration with Metcore International, will host a focused half-day workshop on 18 November in Hong Kong, The Role of Mass Flow Meter System - Building Trust and Transparency in the Future of Bunkering  Held as part of Hong Kong Maritime Week and preceding the IBIA Annual Convention, this practical session will provide participants with an in-depth understanding of MFM technology, including system integrity, calibration standards, and operational best practices.

Designed for bunker operators, surveyors, and fuel buyers, the course will highlight the benefits of MFM in delivering accurate, transparent, and efficient fuel measurement across the marine fuels supply chain. This training will also explore how MFMs can support multi-fuel operations, the technical considerations for metering new fuel types, and what’s needed to ensure continued trust, safety, and operational readiness in a multi-fuel bunkering environment.
