Cooperation between Civil Society & Law Enforcement
The conference aims to strengthen multi-disciplinary responses between law enforcement and civil society organizations responding to cases of missing children. More specifically, the conference will address the legal challenges and ways forward for cooperation, the importance of cross-cutting issues such as exploitation and trafficking, and the power of technology for improved collaborative mechanisms.
Panel discussions will focus on pathways to progress and promoting existing good practices, and pave the way for broadened European policy discussions on the issue.
Young people with experience of going missing will be empowered to use their voices for positive change by sharing their stories during the one-day conference; they will be joined by civil society organisation professionals, law enforcement officials, hotline operations, and national and EU decision-makers.
