Open Coffee
Thessaloniki organizes a great meeting part of its annual charity event that will take place on Tuesday December 18th. From 13:00 - 16:00 we prepare a great networking opportunity, for up to 12 teams (max 2 people/team) to pitch/present their ideas/projects in front of VC fund managers and also have lunch with them.

Our goal is to provide a unique opportunity for many new or existing teams from the region to meet these funds in an informal but efficient gathering. In addition 50% of the ticket will go towards our charity fundraising (the rest will pay the cost of the meal). ATTENTION: This is for ideas and projects in the Information Communications Technology (ICT) sector seeking investments form 30,000 - 750,000 Euro

It is addressed to:

  • startups ready to seek investment.
  • teams that need to validate investors' interest for new projects
  • researchers examining the potential of a new spin off
  • team leaders in existing companies with new projects/potential spin outs

Program:

  • 12:45 - 13:00 Arrival (teams setting up)
  • 13:00 - 14:30 Pitching Session (up to 5 minutes per team, no Q&A)
  • 14:30 - 16:00 Lunch - Networking

Confirmed Funds:

Menu:

  • Mixed salad with cherry tomatoes, olives and peppers
  • Octopus Ragu mezze maniche
  • Mantorlato crust with chocolate and fruit sauce
  • Natural mineral water & soft drinks

FYI the event will be in English. The evening of the same day we will have another open event (in Greek mostly) where the invited seed capital VC funds from Greece and Bulgaria will present their funds in our community (more details here).

If you have questions or you don't want to pitch but still want to come for lunch (startups pirching get a priority) please contact us.
