The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) invites you to the 18th event of the  monthly series DIALOGUES dedicated on the theme:   

From Africa

Culture, human rights, standard of living, economic activity, customs and traditions of the people of the second largest continent in the world will form the basis of discussion for SNF’s May DIALOGUES event. Guest speakers will be discussing on the African countries’ diversity, as well as, on the development of the Athens-based African community.  

Speakers include:

Sotiris Mousouris, Chairman, Hellenic African Chamber of Commerce & Development
Gerasimos Kouvaras, Director General, ActionAid Greece
Loretta Macauley, Founder, United African Women Organization
Menelaos Karamaghiolis, Film Director, Producer, and Writer 
Nikos Odubitan, Managing Director of Generation 2.0. for Rights Equality Diversity
Asteris Huliaras, Professor of Comparative Politics & International Relations, University of Peloponnese 

The discussion between the speakers and the public will be coordinated by journalist, DIALOGUES Executive Director, and iMEdD Managing Director Anna-Kynthia Bousdoukou.

A dance set by DJ Menzi will follow, giving participants a taste of the Summer Nostos Festival that follows this coming June.

Through the monthly series of live events, entitled DIALOGUES, the SNF presents, among others, individuals who inspire through their work and actions and hopes to catalyze conversations around critical issues, around the world.
