For children 5 - 9 years old

Registrations period has ended.

The olive tree, with its relief trunk and silvery leaves, has inspired many artists to capture it through various techniques. In this pottery workshop, the young Members of the SNFCC will combine the primeval raw material of clay with the tree-symbol of the Greek land, depicting the olive tree on the objects they will construct. Multiple symbolisms and concepts will enhance their sense of place, enabling participants to get to know new means of expression and use them to render their own depiction of the olive tree, beyond rules and norms.

Their pieces will be fired and glazed, so that they are usable. They will be able to pick them up from the SNFCC after 15 days.
