Members’ Event: Athens Photo World: Members’ Photo walk in the context of the World Press Photo 2022

Snapshots from the daily life of a photojournalist

Athens Photo World presented for the third year at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center the annual exhibition World Press Photo, featuring the awarded photographs in the international photojournalism and documentary contest.

In the context of the exhibition, the SNFCC Members will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive photowalking tour at the SNFCC surrounding neighborhood, which will be held by the distinguished photojournalists Thanassis Stavrakis and Yiannis Kolessidis. .  

Under their guidance, our Members will learn more on photography’s basic principles, the ways of capturing snapshots of the urban landscape and the difficulties and challenges related to photojournalism.

Participating Members must bring their own camera or mobile phone with camera.
