Members’ preview: Athens Photo World | World Press Photo Exhibition 2022

SNFCC Members’ exclusive tour by the exhibition’s curator Raphael Dias e Silva

Athens Photo World is presenting for the third year at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center the annual exhibition World Press Photo, featuring the awarded photographs in the international photojournalism and documentary contest.

The exhibition will be presented for 23 days, as part of Athens Photo World 2022 and the SNFCC Members will have the opportunity to participate in the exhibition’s preview, through an exclusive guided tour that will be held by the WPP’s curator, Raphael Dias e Silva.

The World Press Photo 2022 competition boasts an updated design, a wider variety of themes and a new service for viewers: a self-guided tour through a mobile app that visitors will be able to download on their phones on-site, in order to access the audio description of the works and stories about the experiences of the photojournalists who captured them.

Exhibition’s duration: May 20 – June 11, 2022 | 09.00-22.00
