Backstage Tour of the National Library of Greece

SNFCC members begin the new year with an exclusive tour of the inner sanctum of the National Library of Greece (NLG).

We will be retracing two centuries of the NLG’s history, following a route that will take us from the research reading rooms and the manuscripts reading room to the document preservation and digitization labs. SNFCC Members will gain an insider’s perspective on the valuable work of the NLG, and have the

opportunity to experience the processes of managing its wealth in real time.
The tour will also provide participants with the opportunity to be informed about the NLG’s digital transition, as well as about new services offered and the way to access and utilize them.
