Creative Wardrobe Renewal: Threads and Colors on our Fabrics!

Drawing inspiration from the outdoor installation Return to Sender and the concept of fabric reuse, this July we give our monochrome Members’ tote bag a brand-new look, mastering the basics of handmade embroidery!  We will color our bag while learning two basic stitches and their variations, which will come in handy in many of our handicrafts. We will thus create new textures in the design of our Members’ visual identity employing traditional techniques.

Eligible to attend the workshop is any Member, with or without prior embroidery experience, including, of course, those who attended the 1st Members’ tote bag embroidery workshop and wish to continue their project. All participants need to bring along with them the new tote bag of the Members’ Program and their hoop from the previous workshops.

What will I take home with me?

Embroidery hoop, needles and the embroidery thread necessary to complete your work!
