Exclusive Members’ Tour: Picturing Health | 75 years of progress and challenges - World Health Organization

Select
SNFCC Member, Young, Family, Senior Registrations period has ended.

The SNFCC Members will participate in an exclusive guided tour by Christina Kalligianni, photographer and member of the Athens Photo World Organizing Committee, in the photographic exhibition of the World Health Organization, as a part of Athens Photo World 2023

The history of the World Health Organization is being presented for the first time to the public in the universal language of the image. Through a collection of photographs, dating back all the way to the beginnings of the organization, the exhibition traces WHO’s multifaceted service to humanity.

In addition to presenting WHO’s work, the exhibit also aspires to bring the public into a more direct, more personal contact with the organization, so that its name stops sounding so distant, official and foreign, and is instead visualized through everyday moments and scenes of human life we all know and can identify and connect with.
