Back to the Hive: Beekeeping Workshop at the SNFCC

On the occasion of World Bee Day and the theme of the Nest , in May we will have the opportunity to participate in an experiential meeting to get to know this important pollinator.

In the theoretical part of the meeting we will discuss about the bee and its role on the planet , we will learn what are the risks and threats bees encounter in the ecosystem, while we will be informed about the products they produce and their benefits for humans .

In the practical part we will participate in a special honey tasting and prepare our own beeswax , which we will pack to take home with us.
