Short Tours at Spyros Louis Cup!

Conceived and designed by Michel Bréal for the champion of the first Marathon race – the Greek runner Spyros Louis – the Silver Cup was awarded at the first modern Olympic Games in Athens in 1896; today, on loan from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) it is on permanent display at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). 

Discover more about the first Marathon and the historical significance of the Cup through a free guided tour of the SNFCC, from 4 to 10 November 2024, at the following times:
