About

TEDxECUAD's mission is to bring together a dynamic group of thinkers and doers in a provocative setting that builds new connections that lead to progress and collaboration, and take participants to a next level of thought and action. We strive to integrate Emily Carr University of Art + Design's core values of constant evolution, advancement in unique fields, and interdisciplinary experimentation while involving the ECUAD community (hailing from 50+ countries) and infusing Vancouver's local and international fabric. This inaugural event will mark our transition to 'the new ECUAD' at the new Great Northern Way campus.

Policies

Community: You must be likely, in our judgement, to be a good addition to the TEDx community -- someone who can contribute to the conversations and connections at the conference, and the projects that may come of it. So that everyone can fully benefit from the experience of interacting with other attendees, we ask that you stay for the duration of the event.

Code of conduct: Those attending TEDx events understand that they do so in a spirit of curiosity, open-mindedness, respect and tolerance. They also understand that the atmosphere is appropriate for high-level relationship building, not salesmanship. Attendees agree not to use TEDxECUAD attendance to aggressively pitch their company, organization, products or services to other attendees. TEDxECUAD is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment in any form.
