TEDWomen 2015 will explore the bold ideas that create Momentum in how we think, live and work. The event will assemble a global community of women and men alike, interested in the innovations, ideas and individuals building Momentum around the world. There will be over 150 TEDx events around the world- including one in Nicosia, Cyprus- sharing the livestream and presenting local speakers around the theme “Momentum.” The result? To reveal the spark that inspires innovation through a global conversation — from San Francisco to London and Stockholm to Nicosia — celebrating movers and makers; designers and do-ers; local problem solvers and global leaders.

TEDxNicosiaWomen 2015 is a reason to continue celebrating the true essence of women. It is not just about innovation but about how they impact their local community and initiate change. This event will feature ideas worth spreading and it will evolve around women’s lives, work, passion, life philosophy and ideas. There will be an exploration and emphasis on how women are the driving force reshaping the future. From artists, thinkers, innovators, to loving mothers, women carry the inspiration, dedication, empowerment and motivation it takes to be the creators of local solutions, and leaders of worldwide movements.

As part of the TEDx spirit and community, TEDxNicosiaWomen will be featuring part of the webcast of TEDWomen 2015 which will take place in Monterey, California. On Friday, May 29, 2015 the TEDxNicosiaWomen event will be combining selected recorded videos from TEDWomen 2015 with local speakers. The powerful ideas to be revealed will be offering us an unforgettable global experience.
