The Pacific Ocean is our home. It is the oldest, largest and most diverse body of water on the planet. It has the highest mountains, deepest trenches and a near limitless range of human experience and natural conditions. It has forever fired imaginations and this year it has inspired TEDxSuva’s 2017 theme: An Ocean of Ideas.
In our second event TEDxSuva is once again focused on ‘ideas worth spreading’ and showcasing the depth and intellect that exists and is created both here in Fiji and across the entire Pacific region.
Application process
We are calling for applications to be part of our studio audience. This year we will once again offer 100 free tickets to audience members based on the quality of your application.
Each application will be reviewed by the organising committee and 100 audience members will be selected. We cannot guarantee you a ticket for the event but we are working to also livestream this year’s event to cater to the overwhelming demand we had last year and will also record, edit and load the speaker videos on the TEDxSuva website within weeks of the event being held.
