Description + - This workshop aims to discuss how to develop and maintain an innovation ecosystem within the maritime and trading sector that can propel the industry forward and enhance its role in the global supply chain. Through targeted discussions, expert insights, and collaborative strategies, participants will explore ways to foster innovation that aligns with industry needs and regulatory frameworks. Workshop 2: The role of innovation in creating efficient global supply chains. The Transformation of Limassol Port. Description + - This workshop is structured to offer a comprehensive view of the pivotal role that innovation plays in modernizing ports and enhancing their role in global supply chains. Through interactive discussions, presentations, and the case study of Limassol Port, participants will gain a thorough understanding of both the challenges and opportunities in the field. Workshop 3: Building a Sustainable Maritime Workforce through Training. Description + - This workshop aims to explore the critical role of maritime training in fostering a sustainable and resilient maritime workforce. As the maritime industry faces evolving challenges such as environmental sustainability, technological advancements, and regulatory changes, there is a pressing need to enhance the skills and knowledge of maritime professionals. The workshop will be concluded with a tour of the BSM MTC. Location: BSM Maritime Training Centre *(Transport will be provided. Departure from Amathus Hotel Lobby at 09:10am)*
