- Draw the Map of your Athenian Landscape
Capture the architecture of the city by picking points, lines and aspects of the urban fabric that catch the eye. The illustrator makes use of her contemporary sketchboards as she invites participants to draw boundaries and shapes inspired by the ever-changing Athens downtown and to translate them into patterns printed on tote bags.

- Ancient Craft, New Beginnings: A new take on the art of air-dry clay
Periods of antiquity and classical motifs intertwine in this urban workshop, where the art of shaping clay aims to find its position in the city of today. From a first discourse on aesthetics we move on to sketching, and from there to the basic principles of working with clay. Our spontaneous creations -small objects and present-day “votives”- shall dry up under the sun that sets above Athens, as has been the case for millennia.

Part of a city's very identity is its letters - the characters and symbols that adorn streets, walls and signs. Even more so in Athens, where the Greek calligraphic characters and their special charm reflect on old signs, posters and advertisements, the art of writing captures the dynamic, optimistic spirit of an era.
This is a workshop, exclusive for Mastercard cardholders, on the forgotten art of penmanship and embroidery. Pens, pencils and markers reveal the handwritten beauty of the Greek calligraphy and alphabet, and show the way we can use this newly-acquired skill to enrich our daily writing.
